About me

My passion for music started at a very young age, beginning by having piano lessons at four years of age. Soon also the violin and the organ joined my musical journey. Next to playing instruments, I always composed, starting off with my first piano composition at the age of five. From there on, I constantly developed my composing skills, trying out new stuff and facing new challenges. Shortly, I started to have the dream of becoming a film and media composer, where I could combine my two passions, composing and films. I am always fascinated by how much impact music has on a scene and how much it can change the whole mood. To create music and emphasize that special mood of a (film) scene brings me a lot of joy and I always like to experiment with new things and combine them with my classical musical background.

My passion for film music encroached on my other musical fields. When I was 15, I finished my 2-year “c-course” education, which let me become a church organist and choir conductor. From then on, I had a job at my local church where I played the organ during the services. Often, I combine this by playing film music to incorporate some “new” music into the church. The responses of the people were consistently positive, which led me to giving film music concerts on the organ outside of church services.

My plan after finishing school was clear: I want to become a film composer. That’s why I started a precatory course in “film scoring and production” at the Musicube in Bonn. After finishing that year, I went for my bachelor's studies in “composition for film and theater” at the ArtEZ university in Arnhem, Netherlands. In July 2025, I successfully completed my studies there.

I look forward to collaborating with filmmakers and artists to create soundtracks that bring stories to life and move the audiences.
